Lions, Tigers, and teddy Bears oh my!

I wish this could be the post where i finally announce that Chicago has been blessed with spring weather, but sadly, it is not. no, unfortunately the groundhog saw his shadow and we were cursed with 6 more weeks of continuously cold weather.  whoever entrusted groundhogs to determine our winter fate is now on my sh** list because i am truly sick of not being able to wear my Birkenstocks.  Luckily, my family agrees with me and we just booked a house in the sunshine state where we will be tanning, swimming and eating on the patio.  But, for now if I am forced to wear heavy coats they are at least going to be stylish and comfortable.  Thank goodness for Free People answering all of my prayers with this nifty, copper teddy peacoat.  Not only is it trendy, but it feels like you are being hugged by a bunch of new born golden retrievers, or teddy bears.  With the current/elliott vintage-tee, the distressed frame black denim, and jeffery campbell studded leather booties, I thought i could liberate my inner Stevie Nicks.  I truly felt like a 70's rocker chick and i wasn't mad about it.
