Metallic Moves

Last night was one for the books.  I am always down for good food, great company and perfect 75 degree weather.  Like most humans, being surrounded by family in a city that you love, with delicious cuisine and no humidity is a true treat.  Now that I am older and wiser, I truly enjoy the simple pleasures in life.  A fresh cold brew coffee, a sunny day, a good book, or a bomb hair day, nothing makes me cheese larger than when kelso from "that 70s show" makes a great burn.  When I started this blog, almost a year ago in August, I have gotten to experience and document so many amazing adventures.  Starting this blog has allowed me to capitalize on all of the hobbies and skills that I don't always get to showcase, such as styling, photography and creative writing.  It has been an amazing creative outlet while I've been on that job search grind these past couple of months.  I love being able to expose my passions to an audience that appreciates fashion and art as much as I do.  For this post, I wanted to spotlight metallic and micro-pleats, two of this seasons must haves.  Lucky enough, my mom had a perfect piece that capitalized on both trends.  I decided to pair it with an embroidered tee, floral strappy mules, and retro hieroglyphic sunnies that gave the look a more street style-esque feel.
