A week in Palm Springs, CA
After months and months of quarantine - it was finally time to mask up and conquer traveling for the sake of my sanity. Luckily, my best friends offered me a trip I couldn’t refuse. A week in Palm Springs, CA or more specifically, La Quinta - the home of my friends lovely desert abode. equipped with a private golf course and saltwater pool, I was hooked lined and sunk, I am not a golfer in the slightest, but I sure can whip up a mean drink and chill by the pool for an ungodly amount of time. It was finally time to dig out my ole suitcase from the depths of my parents garage and locate my “cute” clothes because it was finally time for a much needed vacation.
With my suitcase packed, sanitizer loaded and my masks freshly cleaned, I was off! If a week of 116 degree days doesn’t explain how desperate I was to travel, I am not sure what does. I am not known for thriving in the heat, but I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to see one of the top places on my bucket list. the delicious food, friends and amount of fun we had made up for the body weight I lost in sweat. I highly recommend experiencing the colors, architecture and rich history of Palm Springs, but maybe plan a week in winter.
