London’s calling

these boots are made for walking and that’s just what they’ll do. One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you. I might be a little late to the red boot game, but I thought better late than never, if ya know what I mean. I decided to be part of the scarlet accent club just in time for the holiday season. What’s better than a pop of red? It’s regal, feminine and flirtatious, making any women feel powerful. Although the red boots may dominant the ensemble, it helps compliment the other subtle hints of red in both the knitted cap and plaid coat. I was very inspired by my style icon, Alexa Chung, the British model and designer who’s partial to the art of simplicity and the power of risk-taking. I wanted to embellish a neutral base by adding definition through textures, pops of color and patterns. I’ve been very into liberating my wild side by trying new styles, such as the knitted bucket hat, cropped flare jeans (bought them in a size too small and in a petite, whoops), and vibrant boots. Although my friends may be thinking, “you love to standout”, I don’t usually stray too far from my comfort zone, well at least not in public………..
