#Doingthings in Austin, TX

It's been a hot while since i've posted a travel blog, but it will for sure not be the last.  This past labor day weekend I traveled to Austin, TX to visit my best friend to celebrate her 24th birthday. To say we made the most of the long holiday weekend would be an understatement.  from paddle boarding lady bird lake to hiking the green belt, we discovered our inner sporty spice.  Our motto for the weekend, "Doing Things", was inspired by one of my all time favorite native brands, Outdoor Voices.  WE wanted to spend the weekend expANDING OUR MINDS AND STRETCHING OUR LEGS, AKA BUILDING IKEA FURNITURE AND TAKING LONG hikes after devouring breakfast tacos.  We also decided to challenge our palettes and stomachs with exotic foods and a Sunday funday, debauchery parade down Rainey street.  (when you know, you know)  It was a spectacular weekend filled with coffee shops, swimming at Barton Springs and creating memories with new friends.  It was another successful trip to the spunky, liberal honky-tonk city of Austin, TX.  Until next time, xoxo
